Greer Tidwell is Director of Environmental Management for Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire, LLC. The company’s tire manufacturing plants are all ISO 14001 certified and all 6 US plants are in EPA’s National Performance Track Program. Several of the plants he oversees have certified wildlife habitat areas which are educational resources for the community. Tidwell currently serves as Chairman of the Tennessee Air Pollution Control Board; on Nashville’s Green Ribbon Panel, and is a Board member of the Friends of Radnor Lake. His previous service includes the Federal Advisory Council for Tennessee Valley Authority; President of the Tennessee Wildlife Federation; and the Smokey Mountain Air Quality Blue Ribbon Panel. Tidwell is a registered patent attorney and earned engineering degrees from Baylor University and Tennessee Technology University and his law degree from Vanderbilt University. He is a native of Nashville and enjoys fishing, hunting, horse riding, paddling and hiking with his wife and three children.
