‘Welcome Lafayette, Friend of Liberty’ Now Open
"Welcome Lafayette, Friend of Liberty" is now open in the Tennessee State Museum’s Corridor Gallery on the second level of its Nashville location. This temporary display highlights artifacts related to the Marquis de Lafayette’s stop in Tennessee during his farewell tour of the United States and the impact of his visit on Tennesseans. Artifacts from the Tennessee State Museum collection and other institutions are on view through June 15, 2025
TDOE & TERA Launch 2025 Tennessee Educator Survey
Nashville, TN—Today, the Tennessee Department of Education and the Tennessee Education Research Alliance (TERA) at Vanderbilt University launched the 2025 Tennessee Educator Survey. All educators, administrators, and certified school staff in Tennessee are invited and encouraged to take the survey and share their perspectives and expertise on education issues affecting their classrooms and schools, and help inform strategies and goals at the state, district, and local school levels.
