Anyone who is hired as a “Professional Fundraising Counsel” working on behalf of a charitable organization soliciting from or within Tennessee must register with the Secretary of State.  In order to register the organization must file:

• An application for Registration of a Professional Fundraising Counsel
• A copy of all contracts with charitable organizations soliciting from or within Tennessee
• A $250.00 filing fee.

A Professional Fundraising Counsel must renew its registration each year no later than December 31.
