Description

This POST approved course will be presented by the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy and the Tennessee Coalition to End Domestic Violence.  The course will provide participants with the information and skills necessary to return to their prospective agencies and teach domestic violence and sexual assault intervention and investigation skills.  Program topics will include updated legal issues, proper service of protective orders, investigative techniques, officer and victim survival techniques, sexual abuse techniques and more.  Students attending the school will not only receive classroom instruction, but will have the opportunity to participate in various practical scenarios.

 

Fee

There is no tuition fee for this school.  All cost (tuition, meals, lodging at TLETA) will be absorbed by  the Tennessee Coalition to End Domestic Violence.
