Effective September 1, 2011 the following Section of your Program Terms, Conditions, and Disclosures will be updated to the new definition below.
TRANSACTIONS OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES
For transactions made outside of the United States, the card network associated with your Card will impose an exchange rate between the transaction currency and the Card Account billing currency. The card network selects this rate from the range of rates available in wholesale currency markets for the applicable date in which the processing of your transaction occurs. This rate may vary from the rate the card network receives or the government-mandated rate in effect for the applicable processing date plus or minus any adjustment determined by the Bank. Any transaction submitted by a merchant outside of the United States is subject to international and currency conversion fees. See your Fee Schedule or other documents provided to you by Chase for applicable international transaction fees.
