  • Adult Protective Services
    Adult Protective Services staff investigate reports of abuse, neglect (including self-neglect) or financial exploitation of adults who are unable to protect themselves due to a physical or mental limitation. APS staff assess the need for protective services and provide services to reduce the identified risk to the adult.
  • Child Care Services
    Child Care Service is here to help ensure the quality of child care settings across Tennessee with health and safety being the foundation. Child Care Services has a focus on several key areas including: parental engagement, the health and safety of children in care and early learning. Child Care Services seeks to provide trusted tools, services and guidance to empower parents and provide a foundation for the success of children’s futures.
  • Nutrition Programs
    The Child and Adult Care Food Program and the Summer Food Service Program are administered by the state and through a network of community partners with the intention of providing nutritional meals to children and qualified adults with disabilities in low-income settings.
