The process of determining eligibility for Food Stamps shall proceed as promptly as possible, after an application is filed. The standard of promptness for determining eligibility for Food Stamps is 30 days. (1) Standard for Households with Zero Net Income and Destitute Households Households with zero net income and households destitute of income shall be certified on an expected basis. (2) Standards for households Applying for Food Stamps Households applying for Food Stamps shall be processed as promptly as possible and in accordance with the timeliness standards for Food Stamps set forth in this section. |
