A Note from the Intern Advisors

Dear Students,

On behalf of the Office of Governor Bill Haslam, we are pleased to invite applications from those interested in serving as an intern at the State Capitol in Nashville during our Fall 2014 Intern Program. Fall internships will begin in August and continue through December 2014. The deadline for applications is August 4, 2014.

The goal of this intern program is to provide college students with an enriching work experience that promotes both citizenship and scholarship. Interns are assigned to work directly with the senior and support staff of each individual department inside the Governor’s Office.

Specific duties might consist of utilizing effective writing skills, researching current issues, assisting with and attending events, as well as various administrative activities within the departments.

Thank you for expressing interest in the intern program. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you in the near future.
