Description This course is designed as a preparatory course to assist the new inspector in preparing to sit for the NFPA Fire Inspector I Exam. This course is taught using the NFPA format and provides the student with the knowledge and skills necessary to examine buildings and structures for compliance with NFPA standards and the International Fire Service Training Association (IFSTA) Manual. Topics include private fire protection systems, building construction, life safety codes, and inspection/enforcement methods.
