Occupancy and Specialty Correction Lists

The Plans Review function, while state adopted code requirements based, also depends on formal and informal interpretations as well as State Fire Marshal’s Office policy. Below are links to several of the most often used correction (check) lists. These check lists contain the most commonly missed items and some policy based requirements. They are subject to change over time without notice. They are not intended to be all inclusive. Any errors or bad references should be reported to the plan review supervisor at the State Fire Marshal’s Office for immediate correction. Additional items may need addressing after a review. Some situations requiring a review may occur so infrequently that no predefined list is generated. In which case, the reviewer will refer directly to the appropriate codes and standards when conducting his review of the submitted project.
