Response to Instruction & Intervention (RTI2)
The role of the public education system is to prepare all students for success after high school. Response to Instruction and Intervention is designed to empower educators to give every student the opportunity to meet high expectations and the support to reach them.
RTI2 is a three tier framework that promotes recommended practices for an integrated system connecting General and Special Education by the use of high-quality, scientifically research-based instruction and intervention. The chart below provides an overview of these three tiers.
