Mission Statement

Our mission is to schedule parole hearings, send notifications and issue release certificates in a timely manner, maintain offender files and provide services to crime victims.

The Board Operation Division's key responsibilities are to:

  • Schedule timely parole hearings

  • Provide information and materials needed for the Board to make
  • parole decisions
  •  
  • Issue parole, determinate release, foreign jurisdiction and life-time
  • supervision certificates
  •  
  • Maintain offender hearing files
  •  
  • Provide victim services
  •  
  • Request psychological evaluations
  •  
  • Process Executive Clemency applications
  •  
  • Respond to inquiries concerning parole-hearing matters
  •  
  • Review, acknowledge and distribute incoming correspondence
